The Marine Parks are opening!

Snorkeling and Diving in the Koh Lanta Marine Park starts this month
During the Green Season, our Marine Parks are closed to snorkeling, diving and other activities, to allow the coral to regenerate. We have some beautiful marine life and whilst we would love to go to these areas at all times of the year, we want to protect them for the future.
Emerald Cave
On October 1st areas of the Koh Lanta Marine Park opened to snorkeling activities. The 4 Island Tour, which visits the amazing Emerald Cave (and some say was the real inspiration for the film, 'The Beach') has now restarted. This is the most popular snorkeling tour from the island.
Diving in the Koh Lanta Marine Park starts on the 15th October

Koh Haa is beautiful, above and below the water!
Turtles are a common site in the Koh Lanta Marine Park
On October 15th the Marine Park will allow diving again at Koh Haa and Hin Daeng/Muang. Both famous for their breathtaking underwater views (caverns, caves and swimthroughs) and stunning marine life.
Manta Rays can be seen at Koh Haa and Hin Daeng/Muang if you are lucky!

We can help you book any of these tours when you stay with us at Mook Lanta Eco Resort.
