Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Did you know that we have reduced our use of plastic water bottles from 9,000 bottles a year to under 3,000 bottles by asking our customer's to reuse their bottles.
By providing dispensers in the room for shampoo and bodywash, we have managed to stop using those tiny plastic bottles and have given our customers more shampoo and bodywash.

This small act, reduces our waste and helps keep this island beautiful.

Greenest Island in Thailand

Did you know that Koh Lanta, had the only registered  Earth Hour event below Bangkok? We were so proud to have been a part of it and vote of thanks to KDC (Ko Lanta Diving Center, Safety Stop, Lazy Days, Two Scoops and Why Not Bar for celebrating the hour by candlelight....

Thank you Andreas

Amazing guests at Mook Lanta Eco Resort

Thank you Morten Bramsen and Family x

5 minutes, 4 bags, well what else can you do when you turned the power off at the resort?

Do something today for Earth Hour!

Today, 28th March 2015 at 8:30pm it is Earth Hour and we are asking all our guests and friends to 'Change Climate Change' with us:

- At 8:30pm today, turn off all unnecessary lighting, air conditioning and other power devices you can live without for one hour.
- We will be turning off the electricity at midday for one hour.
- We are giving away free eco bags in return for you picking up some rubbish from the beach or road.

What are you doing today?

Spend 5 minutes today, picking up rubbish and making the world a much prettier place.

Happy Earth Hour.

Earth Hour

Mook Lanta is proud to be supporting Earth Hour on the 28th March 2015. We will be asking all our guests to respect Earth Hour (20:30-21:30) and turn off any unnecessary lights, air conditioning and other devices. The resort will turn off all it's power for one hour (12:00 - 13:00). We will also be giving free reusable bags for our guests to collect rubbish they find on the beach.

Even if you cannot join us on this day, you too can contribute:

- turn off any lights and other devices you do not need during Earth Hour and every hour
- collect some rubbish on your streets, on a nearby beach or a local park
- start recycling today.
