New guests

We have many different types of guests and some, if I am honest, we like more than others!

Having our resort set in beautiful tropical gardens, we get some unexpected guests, monitor lizards, birds, geckos, tookays and snakes. Almost all are harmless (but if they are not we have them removed) and most are just short visits.

Today we welcome 2 new guests, 2 baby birds who have moved into the bust next to F1 (Cozy Fan Bungalow) and are keeping our guests entertained. They are constantly being fed and watched over by mum.

I hope these little kids make it, we are trying to keep the cats away.

Congratulations Josefin & Pasi

Today has brought memories back for both Nick and I.

Josefin Jacobsen and Pasi Tant Miettinen have been staying with us for a week and today is their Wedding Day.

Our Housekeeper, Sao, took great delight in covering their bungalow with flowers and we added a bottle of Moet for them to sip as she got ready. Josefin's makeup and hairdresser was delighted to have a glass!

Big Congratulations to this lovely couple and we wish them a long and happy marriage.

Now we are even easier to spot at the airport

We can arrange a private taxi transfer from Krabi, Trang or Phuket Airport if our guests wish. Starting from 2,500 baht for a private car (Krabi Airport), we will ensure you get to the resort as smoothly as possible.

We have been using small paper signs to find our customers, but now we have a beautiful new sign (thanks to Gin, our Hotel Manager) for the taxi drivers to use.

If you would like a private taxi, please email us direct, with your flight details (at least one day before) and we can advise you about costs etc.

We are so proud and pleased to welcome 2 wonderful new individuals to the team at Mook Lanta Eco Resort.

Thara our Hotel Receptionist

Thara, our new receptionist, has his own restaurant in Klong Dao, used to work in Layanna Resort and speaks excellent English. His role is supporting Gin, our Hotel Manager in the day to day running of our hotel. He has already proved that he is perfect for Mook Lanta Eco Resort.

Keep smiling Na! our Barmaid and Waitress

Na, our new barmaid and waitress, is from Andaman Lanta. She too speaks excellent English and has the most beautiful smile. Our busy breakfast, she takes in her stride.

Happy Chinese New Year

May we take this opportunity to wish all our guests a Happy Chinese New Year. New Year was the 8th February and is decided by the lunar calender. This is the year of the monkey, so expect some mischief this year.

Mook Lanta Eco Resort has been busier than ever over this time, so please, if you want to stay with us, make sure you book your whole stay, or speak with us about the likelihood of extending.

Earth Hour

As with last year, we are planning to observe Earth Hour.

We will be asking our guests to turn off all electricity from 8:30pm to 9:30pm on March 19th 2016.

We are hopefully going to plan a beach clean up also with our guests, where we will gift all our guests who participate with a reusable Mook Lanta Eco Resort Bag.
