Today is a very special day in Thailand, it is Queen Sirikit's Birthday. The current Queen of Thailand who is married to the longest serving monarch in the world, King Bhumibol.

Traditionally the Queen's birthday is a public holiday and it is also Thailand's Mother's Day.
Gin, our Hotel Manager, has been with her mother today, washing her feet (a traditionally Thai ceremony to bestow respect and love) and celebrating this special day.
